WTTS Editors report from the French Alps

Dave and Chris spent the last 10 days touring resorts - mainly in the French Alps - researching the next edition of the book. The much-needed fresh snowfalls came midway through and towards the end of their trip. After seeing bare slopes and blue ice in Valmorel, they headed for the heights of Val Thorens and found the snow rather better lower down in the Les Menuires and Meribel sections of the Trois Vallées.
