With very easy access from Geneva, Les Houches is 5 km from Chamonix town centre. The resort is a lovely traditional Alpine village that benefits from being slightly less well known than its famous neighbour whilst having access to great skiing and snowboarding.
Other Facilities
Les Houches offers snow shoeing, an indoor climbing wall, paragliding, dog sledging, ski joering and a natural ice skating rink. There is a regular bus between Les Houches and Chamonix town.
Facilities for Children
The 'Halte-Garderie' in the centre of Les Houches looks after children aged between 3 months to 3 years old. The Les Chavants Day Nursery located at Les Chavants just 200m from the ski school and the bubble lift takes children from 18 months to 10 years old.
