At the heart of the Val d’Arly ski area, with stunning views over nearby Mont Blanc, Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a traditional Alpine village, steeped in centuries of history. Local architecture has been preserved and more recent construction has been built within strict guidelines to preserve Notre Dame’s charm and authenticity. It is approximately 1hr 30mins drive from Geneva and Chambery airports.
Other Facilities
Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a small family resort, so extra activities are somewhat limited – there is a toboggan run, cross country skiing and paragliding, as well as friendly local restaurants and pizzerias. For a vast array of alpine activities, the chic resort of Megeve is only 15 minutes drive away and well worth a visit.
Facilities for Children
There is a local nursery for children from 2-3 years old however places are limited. It is open every day except Saturday from 9h to 17h30 - Tél: 04 79 31 75 64.
The local ESF ski school operates for 3-4 year olds, with full lessons for children from 5 years and up. www.esfndb.com
