Read our blog postFlaine is a modern, purpose built resort in the Haute Savoie region, located in a unique “bowl” with many north facing slopes.  It usually enjoys a lot of sunshine and has a good reputation for powder skiing.  The natural snowfall in Flaine usually allows a long season and excellent ski conditions all through the season.

Resort shuttle:
There is a free resort shuttle that operates during the day, linking the Hameau du Flaine, Flaine Foret and Flaine Forum.

What our clients are saying

"We really enjoyed the skiing in Flaine which is quite varied and free buses are an alternative to the ski back to the accommodation. The weather was very warm so snow became quite slushy in early afternoon but given that the resort is at 1600m this was to be expected. Drinking and eating out was very expensive with a 20% increase on prices 2 years ago however there is a good selection of mountain restaurants."

"We'd never heard of Flaine and only looked at it because it was in the Erna Low brochure. The skiiing was amazing, we had the grand massif pass and made full use of the whole area. It's such a pretty resort and reminded me of canada. Every travel review that I read said it was an ugly resort because of the 1970's buildings but we really didn't think they were that bad."
