With narrow streets and traditional Alpine style buildings, Montchavin retains an authentic village atmosphere while offering a small variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

Visitors can try Snow shoeing, Hiking and Cross country skiing while in the village itself there are shops, an Icerink and a cinema as well as a small selection of bars restaurants and a Discotheque.
Facilities for Children
Montchavin has great facilities for children, there is a 'Baby Club' for children 12 - 36 months and for older children the 'Club Neige' provides supervision for 3 - 9 year olds with the option for ski lessons to be included.
