The resort of Plagne Soleil is a one of the newest of the modern, purpose-built resorts in the La Plagne region and is linked to the neighbouring Plagne Village. Together they form two of the ten separate bases of La Plagne. Residents can explore the Plagne Centre by using the gonodla which links the area to the commercial centre.
Expert skiers can access the glacial slopes of the Bellecote glacier with its extreme verticals of up to 2,000m. Intermediate skiers are perfectly suited to La Plagne as most of the 124 ski runs are rated intermediate and beginners have access to lots of wide open, gentle slopes to practice on. Plagne Soleil has everything for an ideal ski break or ski holiday which makes this sun-filled village a popular place for ski enthusiasts (and even non-skiers) to stay.
