Valfréjus is a small resort hidden amongst the wooded slopes of the Maurienne valley, close to the Italian border. Modern and purpose built, it still manages to offer a traditional village atmosphere. Only 10 minutes from the motorway, it is easily accessible and provides a good base for the other Maurienne valley resorts and also the Three Valleys, via the Orelle cable car.
