The small, attractive village of Les Gets has always been popular with the UK market due to easy access, either driving from the UK or from nearby Geneva Airport. Les Gets is a great family resort with a very French feel and the village is built mainly in the traditional chalet style with a lively pedestrian friendly resort centre. The village is fairly quiet in the evenings but gets busier and livelier at the weekends.
Other Facilities
Ski-joering, dog sledging, paragliding, ice skating and 12km of cross country trails. The resort also has a relaxed après ski life with a cinema, bowling alley, restaurants, spa, beauty centre, night club and numerous bars, shops and supermarkets.
Facilities for Children
A great resort for families, with lots of children’s activities and good access to beginner slopes and the special Grand Cry area with boardercross, wild-west décor, games, Indians and wild animals. The newly created “Mappy’s area” has 2 magic carpets, a snow cable and rope tow to ski smoothly on 4 slopes. The ESF offers children’s nursery and lessons (3-12 years) and there is a crèche Les Fripouilles (6months – 4 years).
