Situated in the Hautes Alpes, Les Orres is a family friendly, purpose built resort found amid a forest overlooking the Durance and Serre-Poncon lake. It is in an excellent location for low-cost flights to Marseille or Grenoble and it couldn’t be easier getting to the resort with the local shuttle bus Navettes Blanches (please check your flight corresponds with the shuttle) which runs from Marseille Airport every Saturday for €90 for a family of 4 return.
Other Facilities
There are more than a dozen bars in Les Orres and one nightclub. There is also a cinema and bowling alley. There are also other non ski activities such as snow shoe treks, walking, parapenting, snowmobile, ice waterfalls, an ice rink, dog sledges, massages, sauna and a new 710m drop sledge run.
Facilities for Children
The nursery caters for babies and infants from 6 months to 6 years old, and offers a half ski/half nursery program for children from 3 years. There is also a Juni’Orres club for children 6-12 years and a Piou Piou club for young skiers to have fun on the slopes.
