PLEASE NOTE: Navigation systems are likely to take you through France via Grenoble and the Col du Lautaret, however this can close frequently during the winter, if this is closed we would advise you change direction at Lyon to drive through the Tunnel de Frejus (payable locally) via Chambery into Italy and the resort from there.
