Champoluc Ski Resort Guide

Champoluc is the largest resort in the Monterosa ski area, a large ski area and Italys rival to the Three Valleys. Located in wooded terrain Champuloc offers specatacular views of the surrounding areas glaciers and peaks. The area is known for its quiet slopes and renowned off-piste terrain.



Other Facilities

While quieter than some of the other resorts in the area there is still plenty to be done in Champoluc including restaurants, bars and shopping. The main square in the village has a number of shops to browse through selling traditional crafts. In nearby Bruson there is an ince rink, ice climbing and snow shoe walks available

Facilities for Children

The Swiss ski school takes children from 3-7 years and a list of day nursery services and baby sitters can be obtained from the local tourist office.

Champoluc Mountain Info

Champoluc has access to the large Monterosa ski area via the gondola at Frachey. The ski area has 180km of marked piste as well as access to a number of well known off piste areas. The area is made up of 3 valleys connected to each other, Valle d’Ayas, Gressoney Valley and Sesia Valley. Providing Italys very own rival to the Three Valleys.
