Responsible Tourism
Responsible Tourism benefits the tourists, their holiday hosts and also the environment. In the office, we have introduced the following policy that we will strictly adhere to and we also have some suggestions on how you can help.

- Ensure there is no energy wasted in the office
- Keep paper wastage to a minimum by using a paperless system
- Recycle all possible waste and re-use paper for printing where possible
- Email information where possible rather than printing and posting
- Collect the stamps from post and send them to charity
- Ensure the stationary we buy comes from a sustainable source
- Ensure that brochure paper used is from a sustainable source
- Ensure that unused brochures are recycled
- Refrain from acquiring plastic bags when shopping locally.

- Ensure that you dispose of your rubbish correctly
- Recycle your paper, glass and cans in resort
- If you smoke, please take extra care to dispose of your cigarette ends and do not leave them in the snow
- Do not ski off-piste in areas where flora or fauna may be disturbed
- Please use local guides where possible
- Respect the area if you are in a National Park
- Please walk around resorts or use local transport to lessen congestion and polution
- Please recycle your brochure when you have finished with it
- Please use the website where possible to limit our brochure print runs.

Green Transport Plan
Last year, Erna Low joined the Government’s Green Transport plan, whereby we fund the purchase of a bicycle for our employees, thereby encouraging them to reduce their environmental footprint whilst making savings on their purchase.
