As part of the 4 Vallées domain, skiers and boarders can enjoy access to the 412km of pistes over Veysonnaz, Thyon and Verbier. The north-facing Mont Fort glacier at 3300m guarantees snow-sure slopes all winter. Beginner skiers are well catered for in Nendaz and Siviez. Untouched powder on the glacier has led to a local culture of freeriding. You will find many freeriding spots; Eteygeon, Plan-du-Fou, The Gentianes, Mont-Fort, Chassoure and Mont Gelé. These routes are not maintained and intended for experienced users and will satisfy the most demanding riders. There is also a beginners and advanced snow park, and since winter 2007-08, the new Burton® Progression Park which is the first inEurope.
