Picturesque and varied pistes combine with a good snow record to make Zermatt an ideal place for both intermediates and advanced skiers. You can also ski to Cervinia in Italy for lunch if you remember the Euros. However the lack of good nursery slopes means that beginners may struggle to find their feet, but can visit Wolli Park situated at Sunnegga/Leisee. There is a “Gravity Park” including a superpipe, kicks and rails for snowboarders which can be accessed by the Furgsattel chair lift which has been recently redesigned.
