If you live in the South, South-West or West of England why not book a crossing through Erna Low with Brittany Ferries. Offering Classic Cruise or High Speed ferry services, Brittany Ferries routes include:
- Portsmouth to Caen
- Portsmouth to Cherbourg
- Portsmouth to St Malo
- Poole to Cherbourg
- Plymouth to Roscoff
Take advantage of the overnight services giving you a head start the next morning on your journey to the Alps. Many of our clients enjoy the comfort and ease of the overnight services, saving money compared to overnight hotel costs and energy for the drive the next day.
Supplements apply to your accommodation brochure price if you are travelling overnight on Friday outbound and Saturday inbound, if you are travelling at any other time or day there is no supplement payable:-
Outbound: Friday Overnight +£20
Inbound: Saturday Overnight +£20
The maximum number of passengers included is 5, additional adults are £20 per person and additional children (4-15yrs) £10 per person return, children under 4 years old are free.
Supplements also apply for vehicles over 1.83m high: £35, over 2.6m high: £45 and over 5m long: £25 per metre, return.

To book please inform us of your preferred crossing dates and times; all passenger names and the ages of any children; car height, length if over 5m; any roof boxes or trailers and preferred cabin types. To avoid disappointment over peak periods please contact us as soon as possible with your requirements as Tour Operator spaces book up very quickly.
Please note it is compulsory for all passengers on an overnight crossing to have accommodation booked.
Please note: Cars or other vehicles over 1.83m in total height or cars towing a trailer / caravan will need to have high space reserved. Please ensure you get your high space request in early as high space does get booked up very quickly, especially during the school holidays.
Please note: Brittany Ferries pregnancy policy states that they are unable to transport anyone over 32 weeks (28 weeks for the High Speed Service) or more pregnant at the time of travel or those with pregnancy complications.
For clients travelling from the north of England we suggest using the P&O services from Hull to Zeebrugge and Rotterdam. The overnight service is a popular choice saving clients money on fuel compared to the cost of driving to the south of England and cabin prices are very competitive compared to the cost of an overnight stop en-route.
There is a £50 reduction for each of these from your brochure accommodation price (or £25 per person on hotel prices) and for vans, minibuses and motorhomes the reduction is £30 (or £15 per person on hotel prices).
Hull-Zeebrugge/Rotterdam
- Includes 2 passengers. Extra passengers £15.00 per person return
- Pre-booked dinner and breakfast £25 per adult each way and £15 per child (4-15 years) each way
- Any type of vehicle any height and up to 6m long, £48 per metre over 6m return
- Trailer supplement £80 return
- Pet supplement £38 return.
Cabin types (It is compulsory to book accommodation on overnight crossings):
- 2 or 4 bed/berth cabin inside £45 or with window £59 each way.
- Premier 4 berth/Premier 2 bed/berth cabin £52 each way.
- Premier Family 5 berth (outside) £112 each way.
- Club suite 2 bed £196 each way.
- Club double bed/Club double bed 3 bunk/Club double bed 4 berth/Club family 4 berth/Club large 5 berth £112 each way.

Please note: Spaces on these crossings book up quickly especially on peak dates, please request your crossing as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please note: P&O’s pregnancy policy states that a passenger over 38 weeks pregnant must have written consent from their GP to travel.

We are happy to try and change your self-drive crossing without our administration fee one time once you have booked (subject to availability) but we do reserve the right to ask you to cover any additional costs given by the travel provider. If you wish to change more than once, we will charge an administration fee to cover our costs.
