Copper

A view of Union Peak Copper's natural ice rink

This little known gem offers some of the best terrain in Colorado...

Copper Mountain’s naturally divided terrain has been voted both “Best Skiing” and “Best Snowboarding” by Summit County locals for the fifth year in a row. Its pedestrian village offers something for everyone, together with excellent access to the mountain.

Other Facilities

After recently undergoing extensive development, Copper now has a vibrant centre in the Village at Copper. Located just steps away from the lifts, the village offers modern and convenient lodging options, together with world class après ski, dining, shopping and nightlife right on your doorstep. Getting between the three base areas of the East Village, the Village at Copper and Union Creek is easy; thanks to the free shuttle service, and shopaholics can take the free Summit Stage bus to nearby Silverthorne to pick up some bargains at the factory outlet stores. Guests also benefit from access to the athletic centre and free twice daily mountain tours.

Facilities for Children

The Belly Button Bakery provides full and half day childcare for infants (6 wks to 2 yrs) and children (2 to 4 yrs). Evening in-room childcare can be provided, or parents can take advantage of the Kid’s Night Out, where the kids will be looked after all evening free of charge for parents spending at least $30 per child at the resort during the same evening.
