Copper Mountain’s ski area is naturally divided into three sections, each being ideal for a particular standard of skier. To the west is the beginner terrain,
while the east side and upper slopes offer some superb expert skiing. The free Snowcat to the top of Tucker Bowl offers an easy off-piste adventure for those who don't fancy a long hike. The intermediate terrain is centrally located, allowing more adventurous skiers to head eastwards to test themselves, while recreational skiers can take it easy on the shallow cruisers over towards the beginner terrain. Snowboarders have access to a large park and superpipe. There is also the new Woodward at Cooper which offers The Barn, the first indoor ski and snowboard training facility with trampolines, foam pits, and Snowflex jumps dedicated to terrain park and pipe progression. The Rocky Mountain International ticket is also valid at Copper Mountain’s sister resort, Winter Park, making it ideal for a twin destination holiday.
