There are a huge amount of off-slope activities, such as a tubing hill, scenic sleigh rides, wine tasting, tennis centre, not to mention North America’s largest outdoor maintained ice rink on Keystone Lake. The local town of Silverthorne is just 6 miles away and non-skiers can shop till they drop at the factory outlet stores, offering excellent value on big name brands.
Facilities for Children
There are children’s centres at both the River Run and Mountain House base areas. For older children, the Ski & Ride School offer a comprehensive programme of children’s lessons. There are many fun and educational activities for children, such as stargazing and stories around the campfire.
