Vail Village and Lionshead are interlinked by a regular free shuttle service, which runs until the early hours of the morning and both villages have their fair share of shops, bars, restaurants. At the top of the Lionshead Gondola, the Adventure Ridge development offers a unique night out, with everything from bars and restaurants, to children’s snowmobiling, tubing, ice skating, snow biking and even Laser Tag. The town is nearing completion of its $1 billion renaissance this year and has undergone a huge amount of modernisation and renovation, strengthening its place as one of North America’s premier resorts.
Facilities for Children
The children’s ski & snowboard school has centres in Lionshead and Golden Peak and offers excellent programmes for children from 3-14 years. Kids that are too young to ski can go to the Small World Play School™, which offers a variety of activities for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
