Winter Park

Winter Park Winter Park

With an average annual snowfall of over 912 cm – the most consistent of any major Colorado resort – Winter Park offers some of Colorado’s most challenging skiing and its proximity to Denver International Airport means you’ll have more time to enjoy the mountain.

Other Facilities

Recent developments have seen a brand new village created at the base of the mountain, with new lodging; Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe, along with a new pedestrian main street featuring a selection of restaurants and shops – all within walking distance of the lifts. The resort offers plenty of activities for non skiers including scenic snowcat rides, snowmobiling, tubing, dog sledding, ice skating, sleigh rides and hot air ballooning to name but a few. Guests can also use Colorado’s oldest hot springs resort, Hot Sulphur Springs.

Facilities for Children

A non-ski programme for children aged 2 months to 6 years with indoor activities and lunch is available on site (reservations required). Child Care is located in the Kids Adventure Junction Centre at the base of Winter Park.
