The Great British Celebration returns
After last year's success, the great British Celebration returns to Les Arcs.
This year's event takes place in the resort of Les Arcs from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th March 2018.
Since the early days of alpinism in the 19th century, the British have always loved the stunning beauty of the French Alps. Les Arcs ski resort knows more than anyone else how passionate the Brits are about skiing, with 45% of overseas skiers coming from the UK.
The Great British Celebration in Les Arcs promises four days full of skiing, parties and offers taking place from 27-30 March 2018.
What's on during the week?
The whole resort will be decked out in British colours, from the railway station in Bourg Saint Maurice to the summit of the Aiguille Rouge at an altitude of 3,226 metres.
There will also be events running in each of Les Arcs' villages.
Ice skating – 6pm to 7:30pm (Arc 2000)
Crunch football tournament with mulled wine and hot chocolate (18+ year olds).
Cachette competition area – 10:30am (Arc 1600)
Alpine skiing competition.
Robin Hood Tournament – From 3pm (Arc 1950 Le Village, Place de l’Horloge)
Fun contest with bows and foam head arrows (7+ year olds)
British Family Party with DJ Fred Metral – From 6pm (Place de l’Horloge)
Dancing on the snow for all the family with mulled wine, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and plenty more après-ski!
Toboggan competition – 5pm to 6:15pm (Arc 1800, Mille8 area)
Including prize giving with cheese & wine.
‘Trio Pop’ concert – 6:30 to 7:30pm (Villards village, Place Haute)
