Obergurgl Ski Pass Overview
Quietly resting in a corner of the Ötztal Alps and ski area is one of the highest ski resort villages in not only Austria but Europe. Obergurgl and the extended area of Hochgurgl attract some of the world's most keen winter sports skiers, every ski season. The pistes on the ski area cover an area between 1800 meters and 3000 meters altitude, making it one of the highest ski terrains in Europe and its north-facing slopes ensuring the snow covering is preserved for much longer. With a fantastic snow record and reliable high altitude snow-sure pistes, Obergurgl’s ski area promises an amazing ski experience. The slopes are adequately serviced by an ultra-modern lift system which comprises a total of 24 lifts ( chair lifts, drag lifts and gondolas ) covering all 110 kilometres of the ski area. The efficient lift systems in Obergurgl were put in place to ensure that waiting or queuing at the lifts is kept at a minimum. The majority of the runs here are suitable for beginners and intermediates, however, there are few advanced runs and several off-piste opportunities abound for the thrill-seekers and brave hearts.
