Meribel Ski PassesGetting a Meribel ski pass equates to getting access to one of the largest ski arrears in the world in Le Trois Vallees (The Three Valleys). With over 600km of snowy pistes to explore across two countries and three resorts, there is more than enough terrain to cover on your ski holiday. The Three Valleys also have one of the highest positioned resorts in Europe which often guarantees very good snow conditions in the winter seasons. Types Of Ski Passes In MeribelThere are 2 main types of ski passes available to choose from at Meribel (all of which are available in different variations such as family, group, beginner etc), both of which are distinctively categorised based on the granted access area across both ski resorts. The less expensive pass is the Meribel Valley ski pass which grants access to 150km of pistes within the Meribel-Mottaret area, while the Three Valleys pass offers full access to the entire 600km across both Meribel and Val Thornes and 5 other resorts stretching into Switzerland. Meribel Group Ski PassesThere are group ski passes available at Meribel ski resort as they also operate the Duo and Tribu ski passes which operate similarly on other resorts. The offers are applied for skiers in a pair or in a group of over 3 people where you can save on the cost per person. They are only available for advance purchase and must be bought online, at the same time and in one single payment for the same duration of time for the whole group. They must also be purchased at least two days prior to arrival and are available to purchase for a minimum duration of 6 days and up to 14 days at a time are usually advertised closer to the season and may only be available for purchase on the resort.
Meribel Family Ski PassThere are also family discounts available on the two types of ski passes at Val Thorens. The family group pass works quite similarly to other family passes at other ski resorts in the French Alps, bar a few minor details. At Meribel, the family ski pass is given to everyone in the family at a children's rate. The conditions for redeeming a family ski pass require a minimum of 4 identical ski passes to be purchased under a single transaction online. The family must also consist of a minimum of two adults and a minimum of two children and a maximum of 7 children (aged between 5 years and 17 years of age). Please be advised that ID or proof of age will be requested when purchasing passes.
Meribel 6 Day PassesThe 6 Day ski passes are a popular option among skiers spending a week at the resort. The prices vary depending on what type of access is required (The Meribel pass of the 3 Valleys Pass). available at Meribel. Single-day passes are also available at Meribel and Portes du Soleil at 3 separate rates depending on age. These rates are age-dependent and are split into 3 different age categories, adults (20-64 years), children (5-15 years) and Junior/Senior (16-19 years).
Meribel Beginner Ski Pass ( Mini Pass)The Meribel Beginner ski pass (also referred to as the Mini Pass) is available to beginners at a cheaper rate than the standard Meribel Valley Pass and is ideal for beginners looking to learn ski in a less busy environment and away from more seasoned skiers.
Meribel Single and Multi-Day PassesSingle to Multi-day passes are available on the 3 Valley Ski Pass from 4 hours and up to 14 days. Prices vary from children and adult rates.
3 Valleys Liberte PassThe 3 Valleys Liberte Pass allows frequent skiers who visit at least 8 days a season the freedom to ski anytime they wish to, without needing to visit the ski ticket office. Payment for the 3 Vallees Liberte pass is made as an annual subscription via direct debit.
Meribel Children and Senior Ski PassesThere are free ski passes for under 5-year-olds and over 75 years old. Available on proof of age presentation and can be purchased at ski pass offices on the resort
Meribel Seasonal PassThe Meribel season pass is available for visitors who ski more than 18 days per annum. It is available for both the Meribel Valley and the Three Valley ski pass. There are also early and late season discounts that can be applied to both the Meribel Valley and Three Valley pass. Ideal for regular skiers who ski for more than 21 days a year.
