Chamonix is just over an hour from Geneva by car and has over 100 shops, 12 bars/nightclubs and 115 restaurants. The town is a great destination if you have non-skiers in your party. Most skiers choose one area to explore each day and those with children in ski school will need to plan their skiing and meeting places accordingly.
