Skicircus Ski Holidays

Skicircus Ski Holidays Overview

Ski Circus is a large ski area in Austria that covers 270 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes. From beginners and skiers who just want to take it easy to freestyling daredevils on a thrill-seeking mission, the Ski Circus does have something for all.

The Skicircus ski area is also known to have guaranteed snow throughout the entire season and its snowmaking machines are adequately prepared to cover any snow shortages. The pistes are serviced by up to 70 efficient ski lifts including a recently commissioned 10 seater gondola which ferries up to 2,600 skiers every hour and linking the Ski Circus with the Fieberbrunn ski area, thus making the complete list of the Ski Circus to include the ski resorts of Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn to the area and making it the largest interconnected ski areas in Austria.

The area is also famously renowned for having the longest ski circuit downhill run known to the locals as simply “The Challenge”. This includes 65 kilometres of downhill runs, 32 lift rides and a total of up to 12,400 meters altitude combined.

Saalbach is a small but lively resort and no doubt the main attraction in the Skicircus ski area. The other ski resorts each offer a unique experience and special trait. Leogang is well known for its Alpine tourism, Fieberbruun is a friendly and welcoming ski resort while Hinterglemm is a vastly sprawling area including 43 kilometres of snow sure. Skicircus is also a popular hit with the kids who have free runs of the children’s areas. There are fun and easy obstacle slopes to take on as well as slides and fun slopes. The area also has fantastic accommodation, off pistes activities for the children; with horse-drawn sleigh, day and night time toboggans and a host of others.
