Portes du Soleil Ski Passes

With a ski area spanning 600km of interconnected slopes across 12 resorts and two countries, having the right ski pass is the key to unlocking this vast ski area. From tree-lined slopes to high-altitude descents, the Portes du Soleil provides exceptional variety for all abilities.

A Portes du Soleil ski pass dramatically improves your ski holiday, regardless of what resort you’re holidaying in. With local passes restricting you to the local slopes around the resort, the Portes du Soleil pass opens you up to the entire ski circuit, plus all the lifts and gondolas connecting skiers across all areas, all in one convenient pass - well worth it.

Ski area passes are particularly ideal for skiers looking to cover a lot of terrain and experience a different part of the Portes du Soleil each day. It offers skiers the freedom of the ‘manor’, without worrying about what area of cover your local pass allows.

We make booking a Portes du Soleil ski pass super easy with Erna Low. Simply add it to your ski holiday booking, along with your accommodation, transfers, lessons, and ski hire. Booking your pass in advance not only saves time on arrival, but you may also benefit from early-bird discounts, where available. It’s a convenient way to plan your holiday and ensure you get the most out of skiing in the Portes du Soleil.

What areas does a Portes du Soleil ski pass cover?

The Portes du Soleil ski pass offers unlimited access to 12 interconnected resorts across France and Switzerland, covering approximately 600km of marked pistes served by over 200 lifts. French resorts include Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Châtel, Montriond, La Chapelle d'Abondance, and Abondance, while Swiss destinations comprise Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, and Les Crosets-Champoussin (also known as Val-d’Illiez Les Crosets Champoussin in resort, made of two neighbouring resorts, Les Crosets and Champoussin).

Skiers with this pass can explore the entire cross-border circuit freely, skiing between countries multiple times daily and discovering the area’s varied terrain and mountain landscapes. In contrast, local resort lift passes limit access to only specific resort areas. For example, the Morzine-Les Gets pass covers approximately 120km of pistes across just those two interconnected resorts, while a Châtel Espace Liberté pass focuses solely on Châtel's immediate slopes. Local passes are great for skiers visiting for shorter periods and who are not planning to venture too far from their base. In contrast, the Portes du Soleil pass maximises variety and exploration across one of the world's largest ski domains.
