At Erna Low, we set an intention, business-wide, to ensure our sustainability journey is always evolving. As such, we were excited to meet the founder of a new business, ADN skis, that has created recyclable skis that will be available for trial in select French ski resorts this season with our equipment rental partner Skiset.
The aim of the trial is to test both the performance of the newly created recyclable skis that have been made in partnership with Solomon and to gain an insight into consumer behaviour towards this kind of product.
After trialling the skis, clients will be given a questionnaire asking for feedback on the skis and their performance thereby helping ADN determine what changes (if any!) are needed to improve the patented technology. Eventually after 3 years in service, the skis will be returned and dismantled so ADN can analyse the materials to know how durable they are.
Skiset shops involved in this trial are in Val Thorens, Belle Plagne and Courchevel so please contact us if you would like any more information.
