Lech Ski Passes

A ski pass in Lech is your ticket to explore one of the region's top ski destinations, so getting one sorted early, before you travel, is one of the smartest moves to make.

Lech is one of Austria’s most celebrated and sought-after ski resorts, and for good reason. Part of the iconic Ski Arlberg area, it offers over 300km of pistes and access to at least 6 other resorts, including Zürs, St. Anton and St Christoph. Whether you’re chasing long sweeping blues like the cruisy Monzabonsee, classic long reds like the Zürser Täli or on a mission to explore Lech's legendary off-piste terrain, a ski pass here puts the mountain at your fingertips.

Getting your ski pass sorted in advance with us is highly convenient - especially on your first morning - as it's quicker and much easier to collect a prepaid ski pass than to purchase one over the counter. At Erna Low, we make pre-booking your ski pass simple and completely hassle-free. Just include it as part of your overall online holiday package with us, and it’ll be ready and waiting for you upon arrival. Plus, booking your ski pass early may secure you a significant early-bird discount - further proof that the early bird truly does catch the biggest worm.

Types of ski passes in Lech

The Ski Arlberg pass is the primary operating pass across all resorts within the ski area (including Lech). It covers the full 305km of pistes across the entire area, granting unrestricted access to all lifts, runs, and sectors within one of Austria's largest ski areas.

The Ski Arlberg pass has you covered from the first lift to the last, whether you're planning to stay close to Lech's slopes or venture across to St. Anton for a change of scenery. For short stays in Lech, you can purchase a single Lech pass valid on specific lifts (Rüfikopf, Schlegelkopf, Zürs) if you don’t plan on venturing too far.

Group Ski Pass Discounts
Group ski pass discounts are available within the Ski Arlberg area for parties of 20 or more skiers. The discounts work as incentives rather than traditional discounts. For every 20 paying skiers, one free lift pass is provided, making it a cost-effective option for larger groups, schools or corporate trips. Discounts can only be purchased at the resort over the counter.

Family Bonus
The family discount applies only to seasonal passes. The “family” makes up at least one parent and two children. A third child in the “family” receives a free season pass. All family passes must be purchased together under a single transaction, and proof of age will be required for junior pass holders at the point of purchase or on the mountain. Discounts can only be purchased at the resort over the counter.

Pedestrian Passes
The Sunshine Subscription is valid only for non-skiing holders on the specified cable cars in Lech, Oberlech, Zürs, St. Anton, St. Christoph Klösterle, and Sonnenkopf. The Sunshine Subscription also includes access to toboggan runs. Discounts can only be purchased at the resort over the counter.

Lech Children's and Senior Ski Passes
The Ski Arlberg pass operates tiered, reduced-rate discounts for both young skiers (under 8 years) and seniors (over 65). These discounts are built into the standard pricing structure, meaning seniors pay less than adults on day, multi-day, and season passes, rather than accessing a separate discounted product. Discounts can only be purchased at the resort over the counter.

FAQs

What ski pass do I need for skiing in Lech?

The only ski pass you need for skiing in Lech is the Ski Arlberg pass. Lech is fully integrated into the Ski Arlberg ski area alongside Zürs, St. Anton, Stuben, and Warth-Schröcken. The Ski Arlberg pass gives you unrestricted access to the entire 305km ski area and all the resorts within the area. We will also recommend pre-booking your pass with us ahead of your trip - it’s the easiest and most convenient way to get it sorted.

Is there a senior ski pass available for skiing in Lech?

Yes. There are reduced rates on the Ski Arlberg pass for seniors skiing in Lech. The age threshold for senior pass eligibility and the specific discount applied are updated at the start of each ski season, so we recommend checking with us or with the official Ski Arlberg page for additional clarification. These reduced rates can only be added in person at the resort, with proof of age required.

Where can I collect my Ski Arlberg pass when I arrive in Lech?

Your Ski Arlberg pass will be ready for collection at the ski pass offices in Lech. If you purchase your pass online with us, the ski pass voucher will be available for download in your Erna Low members' area a few days before departure. The voucher allows you to collect your prepaid pass at the ticket counter. With your voucher, you can pick up your pass at the resort offices and be on your way in no time.

What is the best way to get the most value from a Ski Arlberg pass in Lech?

The key to getting the most out of your Ski Arlberg pass during a stay in Lech is to embrace the full breadth of the ski area rather than limiting yourself to the immediate Lech slopes. With 305km of pistes across six interconnected resort areas, there is genuinely more terrain than most skiers can cover in a single week, so planning a different sector or resort for each day of your trip is a rewarding and efficient way to maximise the pass.
