La Thuile Ski Hire
Travelling with your own ski gear always sounds brilliant in theory – until you're paying excess baggage fees, praying your skis survive the baggage handlers, and realising you've got to haul the lot on and off flights and transfers before you even see a mountain. There's a smarter (and lighter) way to do this. Book your ski hire in La Thuile with Erna Low before you travel and skip the whole ordeal.
Set at 1,450m in Italy’s beautiful Aosta Valley, La Thuile gives skiers access to up to 160km of varied high-altitude slopes across the Espace San Bernardo ski area, which it shares with neighbouring La Rosière across the French border. The terrain suits all ability levels, from easy tree-lined runs to steep, challenging descents and off-piste zones. Our ski hire partners in La Thuile stock well-maintained, modern equipment matched to your skiing level and ready to perform on the mountain.
Get your hired equipment sorted as part of your Erna Low holiday package, and have it all confirmed before you leave home. This ensures your kit is allocated and ready to collect on arrival.
How much does it cost to hire ski equipment in La Thuile?
The cost of ski hire in La Thuile depends on the type of equipment you select and how long you plan to rent it. In general, ski equipment prices increase as you move up through the different categories, with each higher level offering greater sophistication and performance improvements.
Entry-level gear is the most pocket-friendly option, while advanced equipment packed with extra tech comes at higher price points. The length of your rental also influences the overall cost. Booking your gear for a full week or several consecutive days always offers a much cheaper daily rate than hiring for just a day or two. If you are heading to La Thuile for six days or more, choosing a weekly rental is definitely the most budget-friendly choice.
