Auris en Oisans
The family friendly, and relatively undiscovered resort of Auris-en-Oisans is situated on a Southern slope in the fantastic Alpe d’Huez ski domain. The village is a great option for families, with 80% of residences offering direct access to the slopes and a wide range of terrain to suit all abilities.
Non skiers can access Alpe d’Huez via a series of three lifts (the Auris Express, Louvets and Alpauris) that takes skiers and pedestrians alike to the Bergers region. Alternatively, you may wish to try snowshoeing or Ski de Fond (cross-country skiing).
The resort features free entertainment, including a cinema night, children’s activities, night skiing and a welcome drink on Sunday evenings.
Facilities for children
The resort is very family friendly and great for children with free entertainment, including a kids party every Friday with sweets and drinks, rubber ring sledging and torchlight descents. During weekends and school holidays there is a bouncy castle and trampoline for children aged between 4-12 years.
The resort features a nursery for children aged 18 months to 3 years and ‘Les Marmottes’ kids club for children aged between 3-12 years.
