Thinking of going on a ski holiday with that special someone? A trip to Whistler could be just what you’re looking for! With an extensive list of luxurious hotels and various other things for couples to do, Whistler is a great place for a romantic getaway.

For an extra special trip you’ll need to find the best accommodation that suits you, and Whistler has plenty of hotels designed specifically with couples in mind! For those on a budget the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel is a great choice. Each suite benefits from an in-room, two person jetted tub, kitchen and many of the rooms also include fireplaces. If you’re looking for something a little bit more luxurious the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel may be more tasteful, including spa facilities with couple’s spa rooms, ski-in/ski out access and impeccable service throughout. The five different dining options available will ensure your stay is even more memorable. Find out a bit more about our accommodation options here.

The Scandinave spa is a 25,000 square foot outdoor spa, just minutes from Whistler Village. It has incredible mountain views and overlooks the valley. Enjoy some pampering time as a couple with a duo massage involving a relaxing massage treatment performed on you and your partner in the same room. This can be a very unique and relaxing way to unwind with the person you love.

Enjoy a romantic lunch at the newly renovated Christine’s restaurant at the top of Blackcomb Mountain. Christine’s is located at the top of the Solar Coaster Express in the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain, with stunning panoramic views looking over the mountain range. If you are looking for incredible food, romantic moments and a spectacular view, this is the spot for you.

Experience a meal in the Bearfoot Bistro composed by award-winning chef Melissa Craig. As a part of your dining experience at Bearfoot Bistro, their wine director will choose the perfect wines to complement each dish, or alternatively you can select your own from the extensive wine cellar. You can also try your hand at sabering a bottle of champagne, which if you didn’t already know is opening a champagne bottle with a sword! The coldest vodka room in the world is based in the Bearfoot Bistro and is a fun experience you can do as a couple, tasting all different types of vodka.

Private ski lessons for the two of you are a fun way of getting to know the slopes together as well as seeking out all the secret ski spots on both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain. Helping each other to learn to ski and having fun doing it is a great way to connect while learning a fantastic new skill!

Heli-skiing is a great activity if you are wanting to try out something a little bit more thrilling with your partner. With the $989CAD per person classic experience package you can have a group of up to 10 people in your party. This package gives intermediate to advanced skiers/borders an opportunity to explore the best of Whistler’s backcountry. The package also includes a ‘Heli-picnic’ prepared by the award-winning Bearfoot Bistro restaurant.

Whistler also benefits from the ‘Crystal Hut Fondue by Snowmobile’ experience in which for $239CAD for a single snowmobile and $199CAD per person sharing you can explore the forest trails across Blackcomb Mountain. At the end of your trip you will reach the charming Crystal Hut. Within the Crystal Hut, located on top of Blackcomb Mountain, you will be treated to the chef’s local interpretation of a traditional candle-lit fondue dinner accompanied by fine wine, followed by a freshly baked fruit pie served hot from a wood-fired oven. If snowmobiling doesn’t sound too appealing the tour is also available by a luxury, heated 19 passenger snowcat. The snowcat option is $179CAD per person.
