Overview
Located in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley and linked as part of the Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area, Tignes is up there with the best when it comes to your resort choice! A resort that is no doubt suitable to all; families, friends, beginners and those with the vastest amounts of experience. On top of everything, Tignes is a resort known for its unbelievable snowy conditions, making it an ultimate favourable destination during the entire season with so many things to do both on and off the piste. And, to ski or not to ski in Tignes really doesn’t matter when there are so many different activities available to you!Tobaggan Run
One of the big thrills the resort has to offer is the Tignes Tobaggan Run, known as the Pala’Fou! Its a favourite for something to do after a long day skiing, giving the adrenaline seekers a new adventure, and those less adventurous laughs that will be everlasting. With a dedicated 3km run, it is easily accessible via the Palafour chairlift in Tignes le Lac. By scanning your lift pass at the start, you can even see how fast it took you to get down, terrific for those who have a competitive nature! So after your safety brief, grabbing your sledge, helmet & head torch, head right to the top for the spectacular views & wildest ride back down.Ice Climbing
If tobogganing isn’t for you however, why not give ice climbing in Tignes a go? A very unique experience to add to your bucket list and undoubtedly make your holiday one to remember! Whilst wearing a harness and crampons, a helmet on your head and an axe in hand, head across and up the wall of ice (supervised ofcourse). Whilst this may seem like a daunting experience, with new levels of equipment & trained staff, it really is something that everyone within your party can have a go at.Go Paragliding!
Another one for the daredevils is a paragliding flight over Tignes, giving you the ultimate new experience of freedom whilst flying through the sky like a bird; safely under the watchful eye of certified instructors! We can guarantee this one will be the memory or a lifetime, one that will never be forgotten. Whilst certainly not for everyone, and definitely for the brave at heart, paragliding is perfect for those wanting to take their holiday to ultimate new heights.Checkout Tignespace!
