FAMILY FRIENDLY SKIING EXPERTS – FROM BABIES TO TEENAGERS – WE CAN HELP

At Erna Low we understand what it is like to go on a family friendly ski or snowboarding holiday. There are so many options to consider that it can be daunting, however with our experience and guidance we can make booking your family ski holiday a stress free experience.

Erna Low offers a huge range of resorts and properties from budget options to our upmarket apartments or self-catered chalets which are perfect for families. Many of our recommended family ski holiday apartments are close to the resorts' child care (ideal for ski holidays with kids) and some residences have kids club with child-care included in the price during the February school holidays. There are also some excellent resort kids clubs and ski schools, with ski hire and ski pass offices nearby. We also try to ensure our family ski apartments also offer swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs and steam rooms.

Our Managing Director, Jane, didn’t quite realise the impact that having children would have on her ski holidays - she wondered how difficult it could be? Well experience has now taught her a thing or two and she is more than happy to help any other parents thinking about going away with the little ones.

“My advice to any family would be to consider resorts and areas that they may not have thought about before. Some resorts offer free ski passes for children under a certain age and you probably don’t need a full area ski pass as it is unlikely that you will be out on the slopes from the first to last lift. Also setting realistic intentions for the holiday helps. We try to factor in the children wanting some down time - if they fancy an afternoon at the pool rather than skiing, they are usually more enthusiastic about going back out the next morning as they are feeling better about it all"
