La Clusaz is a traditional picturesque resort with a charming church and village square; it is also a member of the executive TOTFA (Top of the French Alps) Club. The resort is easy to reach and is located only one hour from Geneva Airport and two hours from Lyon and enjoys a record period of snow cover from December to the end of April. There are plenty of non-ski activities for everyone to get involved in from ice skating to dog sled rides, and the busy apres ski and night life will be appreciated by everyone.
An indoor and outdoor pool in the resort centre, nature and heritage snowshoe walks with a mountain guide, mountain activities, paragliding, spas, ski jeering, dog sled rides, horse and cart rides, ice skating, quad riding, hot air balloon rides, creative workshops, library, cinema, ski museum, farm visits and guided tours of the town. 13 bars and 2 nightclubs.
Facilities for children
The resort has been approved as a “Family Plus Destination” for 8 years and the resort welcomes families by providing family friendly facilities and entertainment. There are also a number of kids clubs available. Club des Mouflets’ is a day care for children who are non-skiers aged 8 months to 4 years old and provides a range of indoor activities. ‘Club des Champions’ is for children aged 3 – 5 years. They experience indoor and outdoor activities and a ski option is possible. The ‘Piou-Piou Club’ introduces children aged 3 -5 years to skiing, thanks to a magic carpet in the centre of the resort. The “Ti’Skieurs Club” is a new ESF club that introduces children from 4 to 5 years-old to skiing on the green slopes of Beauregard.

La Clusaz is a fairly large resort and extends over Beauregard, Etale, Aiguille and Balme and connects to the Manigod ski areas. The two areas create a total of 84 runs and 52 ski lifts and magnificent views of Mont Blanc. La Balme is the most popular area to ski and you can find good lunch spots nestled below the mid-station whilst Beauregard is suitable for beginners and young children.
