The Original Ski Holiday Since 1932

Arc 1600

Resort features:
Beginner skiers
Intermediate skiers
Family resort

A firm favourite with locals, Arc 1600 is the first and most compact of the Les Arcs villages. It offers a superb panorama down the valley, stunning views of Mont Blanc and a beautiful setting amidst the trees. This all makes Arc 1600 an ideal option for those wanting to benefit from an extensive ski area whilst staying in a more tranquil environment.

Off the slopes there are a number of shops and cafes and in the evening a varied selection of bars, restaurants and a nightclub will keep you going in to the early hours.

Mountain info

Facing south-west and with tree-lined skiing enabling descents to the unspoiled villages below resort level, Arc 1600 is an “all weather” ski area that holds the snow well. Artificial snow making machines also mean that skiing back to the village is virtually always guaranteed.
Les Arcs offers a huge diversity of skiing with pistes for every standard of skier or boarder.  All the villages have easily accessible nursery slopes and intermediates will love the interlinked blue and red runs that range from high, wide, open space to sheltered tree runs.  Experienced skiers will enjoy the variety of black runs and the guided off-piste or they may even wish to try their hand at speed skiing.  Les Arcs has fantastic facilities for boarders with a snow park and 3 permanent boardercross (one in Arc 1600 and two in Arc 2000). The Rodeo Park at the top of the Col de la Chal (arrival point of the Transarc gondola lift or Arcabulle chair lift) provides 3,000 metres of pure fun and exhilaration!
