With quadruple peaks – Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk – Aspen/Snowmass offers four mountain access with each lift ticket. Thanks to the Victorian charm of Aspen, the slopeside allure of Snowmass and the scenic wonder that is alpine Colorado, Aspen/Snowmass remains the soul of mountain culture in North America.

Facilities

Nightlife in Aspen/Snowmass is varied and lively with over 100 bars and restaurants, offering everything from fine Italian and Japanese to American shabby-chic diners and taverns.

Facilities for children

For the 2007-2008 season, Aspen/Snowmass celebrated the opening of The Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center at Snowmass – the new height of family adventure! Designed for kids of all ages, this amazing 2,323 square-meter facility is sure to create a lifetime of memories. Scale the Aspen Leaf Climber in the Alpine Climbing Room; explore the Bear Den with your preschoolers or snuggle with your infants and toddlers in the Butterfly Room – hands-on, age-specific activities keep everyone engaged and excited to be in the mountains. The Treehouse is truly a world unto itself, conveniently located and ideally appointed for family fun! As always, kids ages 6 & under ski/ride for FREE at all four Aspen/Snowmass mountains.

Mountain info

Aspen/Snowmass boasts four mountains and over 5,000 acres of terrain. Snowmass has it all – cruisers, steeps, glades, off-piste, terrain parks, superpipe and the longest lift-served vertical rise in the United States. Aspen Mountain and its double-black bumps and tree runs are fun for skiers and snowboarders alike. Known as the locals’ favourite mountain, Aspen Highlands features steep terrain, groomed cruisers and breathtaking views from the top of Highland Bowl. Buttermilk is the undisputed home of the ESPN Winter X Games through 2012 (for an unprecedented eleven consecutive years!) and also remains North America’s best family learning centre.
