Arinsal Ski Transfers
Arinsal sits at 1,550m in the heart of the Pal Arinsal ski area in Andorra, offering around 39 miles of marked pistes.
It's a brilliant destination for beginners and families, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back year after year. Getting there is straightforward once you know your options – and planning your transfer in advance makes all the difference.
The two main gateways are Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS) and Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). From Toulouse, you're looking at roughly 124 miles and a journey of three to four hours; from Barcelona, it's around 135 miles with a similar transfer time, though mountain traffic can occasionally add a little extra. Both routes take you through some genuinely spectacular scenery as you climb into the Pyrenees.
When it comes to how you actually get there, you have a few solid choices. Shared shuttles are the most budget-friendly, with regular scheduled services running from both airports throughout the ski season. Private transfers cost more but offer real door-to-door convenience – particularly worthwhile for larger groups or anyone travelling with a lot of kit. Alternatively, many visitors take a direct coach to Andorra la Vella and then hop on the L5 or L6 local bus, or grab a short taxi for the final six miles up to Arinsal.
