Overview of Le Chalet des Arolles
Le Chalet des Arolles comprises one large building which houses reception, a pay per use pool table and many of the apartments. There are also several smaller chalets buildings in close proximity to the side and behind the main reception building which generally house the larger apartments. All have been built in a traditional Savoyard style with impressive views over Arc 1950, the Tarentaise valley and surrounding mountains.
Le Chalet des Arolles ski apartments enjoy a great location being situated just below the main village of Arc 2000 (access via public pedestrian lifts in building opposite reception) and they offer excellent access to the slopes with a maximum walk of just 50m to the small free (and very popular at peak times) Rhodos drag lift which is directly across the road from the main reception. Between 2014-2017 some of the apartments in the main building were renovated and are decorated in a more contemporary style and the remaining units are more traditional and have been recently repainted with some additional touches such as new curtains. If you have a preference, please contact Erna Low to discuss as the larger apartments are only available with the more traditional decor.
Guests have access to a private indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and a fitness centre within the complex. Bread and pastry delivery can be arranged and paid for locally. There is also a tiny independently run restaurant, the Refuge Gourmand adjoining the residence with a lovely terrace which is the perfect venue for some light après-ski refreshment on gorgeous sunny afternoons.
