Courchevel 1850 is one of Europe's most beautiful ski resorts and it also ranks among one the most sought after ski getaway destinations in France. What also makes Courchevel really special is its location within one of the world's largest recognised ski areas, The Three Valleys. It has just over 600 kilometres of pistes which stretch across three different resorts and the two countries of France and Switzerland. Located at a very high altitude, The Three Valleys has a very good snow record and the conditions remain excellent all season.

Types of Ski Pass in Courchevel 1850

You can choose from two 2 ski pass types in Courchevel. Family, Beginner and Group discounts can be applied on both types of ski passes at Courchevel. The two types of ski passes are distinguished based on the allowed access of each pass. The Courchevel ski pass grants access to the local Courchevel area which covers up to 150 kilometres of pistes. This is more ideal for short stay visitors probably in the Alps for a weekend retreat and do not want to exert themselves. The Three Valleys ski pass on the other hand grants full access to the extensive Three Valleys ski terrain and as such, its 600 kilometres of pistes including the areas of Val Thorens and Meribel ( and the smaller resorts in the terrain and across the border in Switzerland). The Three Valleys ski pass is well suited to visitors staying for 6 days or longer as it gives freedom to explore the entire area over the course of the visit. Courchevel Group Ski Passes
Courchevel operates the Duo and Tribu ski pass discount for groups of 2 ( Duo) or over three (Tribu). The Duo and Tribu discounts can only be purchased online and as single payment and an advanced booking a minimum of two days before arrival at Courchevel.
Courchevel 6 Day Passes
The 6-Day pass discount can be applied to either of the main ski passes ( The local Courchevel ski pass or the Three Valleys ski pass). Day passes are available at Courchevel as well, with the price range depending on age of the pass holder.
Courchevel Single and Multi-Day Passes
Discounts to Single or Multi-day ski passes are available at Courchevel but only applicable on the Three Valley ski pass. This is applicable on any pass from 4 hours and up to 14 days. Prices are dependent on age.
Three Valleys Wellness Ski Pass
The 3 Valleys Wellness Ski Pass is available for a 6,7 or 8 day purchase. This ski pass also includes access to the Aquamotion Spa and Wellness Centre on Courchevel. Additionally, the pass also grants access to all the lifts at 3 Valleys.
Courchevel Children and Senior Ski Passes
Children below the age of 5 and Seniors who are 75 years and over are eligible for a free ski pass at Courchevel. Only available at the ticket offices and proof of age must be presented at time of purchase.
Courchevel Disabled Ski Passes
There may be up to a 50% discount for disabled skiers and one companion. A disability badge will be required at purchase. They are available only on the resort and are exclusive to the Courchevel-Les Gets pass.
Courchevel Free Beginner Lifts
There are up to at least 6 free beginner lifts available at different villages in the Courchevel ski resort area for beginners to use. These are lifts in Courchevel 1300, Courchevel Village, Courchevel Moriond, Copilot, La Tania and Bellecote.
Courchevel Seasonal Pass
You can get a Courchevel or a 3 Valley season pass. The season pass prices will vary and are dependent on age and type of ski pass. There are family and group discounts available for both the local Courchevel pass and the 3 Valleys Pass
Where can I buy a Courchevel lift pass?
You can buy your Courchevel lift pass from either of the five ski offices across the resort.

Three of which are located at the Gondola stations at La Tania, Le Praz (Courchevel 1300) and Courchevel Village. There are two other offices at Courchevel 1650 and 1800. Alternatively, you can also purchase your lift pass with us online at Ernalow. Don't hesitate to get in touch for any booking inquiries or additional information.


How do ski passes work in Courchevel?
Like most ski resorts in the area, the ski passes in Courchevel are electronically credited onto a card that is similar in size, shape and likeness to a regular credit card.
It is hands-free activated which means it can be activated remotely at the lift turnstiles without having to present it. It can be kept in a front pocket or ski jacket sleeve pocket for easy activation.

There is a 3 Valleys Pedestrian Pass available for either the entire season or alternatively, between 1 to 8 days. The 3 Valleys Wellness Pedestrian Pass comes with a tasty incentive of 2 massage sessions in the Aquamotion Centre and Courchevel. Pedestrians have separate rates for single or return journeys. Tickets can be purchased at ski offices on the resort.
