La Rosiere Transfers

Tucked away on the French-Italian border at 1,850m, La Rosière is one of the Alps' sunniest resorts – a south-facing gem that forms part of the Espace San Bernardo ski area, linking seamlessly with La Thuile across the border.

It's a resort with real character: quieter and more traditional than some of its neighbours, yet offering serious skiing and spectacular views. Getting here is straightforward once you know your options, and choosing the right transfer can set the tone for your whole trip.

The most popular gateway for international travellers is Geneva Airport, situated roughly 133 miles from the resort. It's well-connected and served by a wide range of airlines, making it the go-to choice for most Erna Low guests. Chambéry Airport is the closest option at around 84 miles, while both Lyon and Grenoble airports offer solid alternatives at approximately 130 miles each. Whichever you fly into, the journey winds through some genuinely beautiful Alpine scenery – consider it the start of the holiday, not just the journey to it.

Worth knowing: La Rosière sits just 14 miles from Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Tarentaise Valley's main transport hub – a 35-minute drive up the mountain. That proximity makes a real difference in transfer times and flexibility. From there, shared shuttles, private transfers, and luxury coaches all serve the resort well. A shared shuttle is a great value option if you're travelling light and solo; a private transfer gives families and groups the flexibility to travel on their own schedule with ski bags, car seats, and everything else in tow.
