Schladming Ski Passes

A Schladming ski pass is the difference between an action-filled ski holiday and an expensive sightseeing trip.

Schladming's ski pass connects four outstanding mountains - Planai, Hochwurzen, Hauser Kaibling, and Reiteralm - across 123km of perfectly groomed slopes and 44 modern lifts. It's a seriously impressive local ski area in its own right, covering terrain for every ability level from wide, confidence-building blues through to more demanding runs for experienced skiers. And thanks to Schladming's position within the Ski Amadé network, the skiing doesn't stop there. From two days upwards, your ski pass automatically becomes a Ski Amadé pass - valid across five ski regions, 760 kilometres of pistes, and 270 cable cars and lifts.

Your pass also includes free use of the ski buses across the Schladming four-mountain ski area, keeping the whole region accessible without needing a car. Booking through Erna Low means you can add your ski pass directly to your holiday package at the time of booking - no last-minute scrambling, no ticket office queues on arrival. The earlier you book, the better the price - online early booking discounts are available, and the price only goes up as the season approaches.

Types of ski passes in Schladming

There are two main ski pass options available for visitors on a ski holiday to Schladming. Both provide access to excellent skiing, but they differ in scope and flexibility.

The Schladming-Dachstein Pass is the more affordable, local option. It focuses on the popular 4-Mountain Ski Area, including Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm and Hauser Kaibling. This is perfect for skiers looking to play the varied terrain, enjoy long runs, and access the village without needing the full regional network.

The Ski amadé Pass, on the other hand, is the comprehensive premium choice. It includes everything in the Schladming-Dachstein area, plus access to the entire Ski amadé alliance – covering up to 760 km of pistes and 270 lifts across 25 resorts and five regions. This gives you far greater variety and the freedom to explore neighbouring areas on different days of your holiday.

Day tickets are a flexible option, ideal for short stays or occasional skiing. They cover a full day, half day, or even shorter time slots (e.g. 3-hour tickets). They provide access to the main Schladming-Dachstein ski area and are a good choice if you’re not skiing every day.

Multi-Day Ski Passes
Multi-day passes are the most popular option for holidaymakers. They are available from 2 to 18 days. They offer great value per day and allow continuous access across the wider Ski Amadé region, making them ideal for week-long trips.
