Pontedilegno-Tonale Ski Area

Pontedilegno-Tonale is a true ski and snow sports paradise which sits between Trentino and Lombardy. Also widely known and referred to as the Adamello Ski area, the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area has fantastic facilities and is known to be one of the best-equipped ski areas in Trentino and Lombardy.

Home to 100 kilometres of snow-sure pistes, serviced and connected by a very efficient network of 28 lifts, the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area’s claim as a ski and snow sports paradise was not made in a vacuum. The snow conditions in the area are fantastic; thanks in small part to its high altitude positioning and of course, the small matter of the Presena Glacier which peaks at over 3,000 metres altitude. The slopes in the ski area range between 1121 and 3016 metres altitude. Its high altitude and great conditions on the slopes actually allow parts of the area to start the season in the autumn.

The Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area is made up of the 4 different ski resorts of Ponte di Legno, Passo Tonale, Presena Glacier and Temù; all of which offer a different and unique experience from each other. They can be all accessed with just one ski pass; the ski pass Pontedilegno-Tonale. With this pass, regardless of your ski ability level, you will have access to all varying pistes from gentle blues, to long cruisy reds and to some of the most challenging and legendary ski runs in the area such as the Pista Paradiso black run on the Presena Glacier. All the various runs in the area cut across different landscapes and terrain from snow-covered forests of Temù to the rocky slopes coming down Passo Tonale. In addition to the fantastic pistes, you are also treated to some breathtaking scenery of the mountain range. From family areas and adventure parks to exciting and exhilarating slopes to refined and lively apres ski, the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area should be top of your list for an amazing Italian Alpine ski holiday.
