Skiing in Folgarida

Folgarida is truly a skiers paradise. It's fantastic connection and links to the neighbouring Madonna di Campiglio, Marilleva and other parts of the Campiglio ski area make it very easy to access all 150 kilometres of slopes and the snow parks across the area. The slopes across the ski area are also very well maintained on an almost daily basis. We have listed a few pointers for visiting skiers below.

For beginners, get the gondola from the resort centre and get off at the mid-station as the slopes are nice and gentle there. Beginners can also find several easy blues around the Monte Spolverino nursery slopes. There are also gentle blues that cut through the wooded areas leading back to the resort base that is perfect for beginners looking to gain some confidence.

With the runs just above the resort mostly blues, intermediate skiers looking for challenge and variety can take advantage of the ski pass and head over to Madonna di Campiglio to access its numerous reds.

Expert and well-seasoned skiers should head over to the black run that takes you to Marilleva; it's a very steep slope but the snow there is always fantastic. There are several off-piste opportunities across the ski area; some of which can be found on the off-piste itinerary around the back of Monte Spinale. Additional black runs in the area worth trying are the steep Nera Folgarida at 1,850 which is accessible via the Belvedere gondola as well as the Nera Marilleva at 1,800 metres.
