Evasion Mont Blanc Ski Holidays

With more than 400 kilometres of marked ski runs, the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area is considered one of France’s largest ski areas.

Made up of pine forests and lush snowy pastures, the ski area welcomes ski abilities of all types. It is particularly popular with families and ski groups looking to enjoy a quiet getaway with charming villages, uncrowded slopes and stunning views of the imposing yet majestic Mont Blanc as a backdrop. Visitors have a total of 217 ski runs to explore with all ski abilities very well catered to. The pistes are serviced by 117 ski lifts in total, including gondolas, cable cars, chairlifts and magic carpets. The snow and skiing conditions here are brilliant with just under 500 snow cannons across the ski area at the ready to supplement any low coverings. With slopes ranging between 850 to 2,350 metres in altitude, across tree-lined and wide-open slopes, skiers visiting the area are blessed with a variety of terrain at Evasion Mont Blanc.

The ski area is a collective of the resorts of Megéve, Saint Gervais, Les Contamines, Combloux, St Nicolas & La Giettaz; which all offer unique propositions to holidaymakers. St Gervais, for example, is widely regarded as one of France's only Alpine spa ski resorts with the village having a well-documented spa and wellness history dating back to the 1800s. Les Contamines is a hidden treasure in the shadow of Mont Blanc with some fantastic views; perfect for romantic couples. Megeve is the largest in the area and is the upmarket option with a charismatic, traffic-free resort centre while Combloux and La Giettaz are peaceful and incredibly charming. All are very good family-friendly options.
