Adelboden-Lenk Ski Area Overview

Adelboden-Lenk ski region sits in the Bernese Oberland of the Swiss Alps. A lovely winter escape, it welcomes all types of skiers from competitive racers and professional athletes to non-professional enthusiasts and holidaymakers looking for a traditional Alpine break. The Adelboden-Lenk ski area is made up of 6 ski resorts Adelboden, Lenk, Elsigen-Metsch, Tschentenalp, Engstligenalp and Betelberg. The area has over 200 kilometres of combined ski area between them across pistes that climb up to 2,500 metres altitude. The area is also popular with freestylers and snowboarders thanks to the fantastic Gran Masta snow park for freestylers. Advanced skiers and thrill-seekers also have a fantastic amount of unmarked, off-piste slopes with deep powder to explore.

The atmosphere in the different resorts here varies from vibrant to calm and peaceful. One constant, however, is the stunning scenery. The area is surrounded by some of the most beautiful peaks in the Swiss Alps and whatever resort or village you find yourself in across the ski area you can rest assured that there is a picture-perfect moment waiting at every corner. It will therefore come as no surprise that the area is the venue for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup and welcomes top ski athletes to its slopes every year. The Adelboden ski area is also a brilliant family-friendly ski area. The resorts here are calm and offer the ideal atmosphere for families with young children to be able to relax and enjoy some quality family time together.
