Types of ski passes in Chamonix
There are two ski pass options in Chamonix. Both grant access to some excellent skiing in the area, but they differ in coverage.
Chamonix Le Pass is the more affordable option, focused on the slopes within the local Chamonix ski area. It’s ideal for skiers who want to stay within the central valley and enjoy a mix of pistes without needing the whole cross-border experience. Mont Blanc Unlimited, on the other hand, is the premium pass. It includes everything in the Chamonix Le Pass, plus much broader access across the Mont Blanc region. It also covers pedestrian lifts and offers access to the region's attractions, such as the iconic Aiguille du Midi and the ice caves at Montenvers-Mer de Glace.
