From the end of November to the start of May, the Silvretta Arena guarantees the ideal winter sport conditions for snow-seekers and party-goers which extend far beyond the local borders: with the joint ski pass for Ischgl, Austria and the Samnaun tax haven in Switzerland, the Silvretta Arena offers a high-altitude winter sports paradise with guaranteed snow, extending over 238 km of pistes. These include 45 km of black, 127 km of red and 38 km of blue pistes. 44 comfortable lifts and mountain railways transport winter sports fans up to a high altitude. The resort itself is compact and mainly built in a traditional chalet style and is located just 95km from Innsbruck airport.
The popular après-ski scene and trendy bars are in no way inferior to the sophisticated lifestyle, comfort and service on offer in the ski resort. The famous clubs too are all about enjoying life, entertainment and quality après-ski offers. Ischgl’s motto of ‘Relax. If you can...!’ is a real challenge here!
Non-ski activities in and around Ischgl include:
Tobogganing evening every Monday and Thursday
Winter hiking trails
Horse-drawn sleigh rides
Facilities for children
