Overview
The traditional village of La Rosière is located in the heart of the Haute Tarentaise at 1850m, perched high on a sunny plateau above Bourg St Maurice, with a reputation as a friendly, family resort. La Rosière ski resort is linked to the Italian resort of La Thuile to form the expansive Espace San Bernardo ski area.

Facilities for children
The area has been given the label ‘Famille plus Montagne’ due to its numerous facilities and services available to children. ‘Les Galopins’ looks after children between 18 months and 12 years. The 3 – 4 year olds can learn to ski in the Village centre or the Eucherts ski kindergarten, whilst the older ones join the ESF ski school for lessons.
Snow Little Child Care
Snow Little has built its reputation on exceptional Childcare. They have a team of experienced, enthusiastic, creative, lovely British nannies in La Rosière to keep little ones safe and happy with fun activities while you’re out on the piste!
Snow Little are mature with a warm and caring approach, excellent experience, fully trained and/or qualified, with first aid and CRB checks. Based in Bourg St Maurice and now on their fourth year running, they offer competitive rates for daytime nannies on a daily, hourly or weekly basis, and night-time babysitting on an hourly rate.

The high altitude pistes of La Rosière ski resort combine with the Italian ski area of La Thuile in Italy to offer superb skiing. Those on a La Rosière ski holiday will find a similar number of runs on both sides of the border providing plenty of moderate to advanced skiing, some particularly steep north facing pistes and first class powder. La Rosière has 2 main ski departure points, the Roches Noires Express and the Eucharts Express, giving access to the entire ski area including the excellent nursery slopes. Nordic skiers are also well catered for with 7km of cross country tracks.

For your convenience, La Rosière ESF has two meetings points, so guests staying both in the resort centre or the Eucherts base area have easy access to ski school*. With over 80 ski instructors and mountain guides, the ski school offers lessons for all abilities.
