Skiing in Les Saisies

Les Saisies sits west of Mont Blanc in the Espace Diamant ski area it shares with Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Hauteluce, Flument Saint-Nicolas, Praz sur Arly and Crest-Voland Cohennoz.

Les Saisies is an incredibly charming village that has remained relatively unspoilt over the years and therefore comes as no surprise that it is regarded as one of Frances's most natural ski resorts. It’s also earned the nickname “ French Tyrol” by some for its gorgeous landscapes and 360-degree breathtaking views of the surrounding Mont Blanc, Beaufortain and Aravis mountains. The skiing experience in Les Saisies is nothing short of fantastic. Located at a resort height of 1,650 metres altitude, Les Saisies slopes climb up to modest 2,069 metres, however, thanks to a unique and favourable Savoie micro-climate, the resort receives a much higher snow-fall volume than a lot of other resorts in the region. Less than a 2-hour transfer from Geneva, Les Saisaises remains a favourable snow-sure destination.

Les Saisies has a great slope management program, which has played a large part in the resort’s recognition for its environmentally friendly snow grooming services. This was ascribed to a variety of factors, including snow preservation, ski area preparation, and piste grooming. Additionally, it boasts excellent snowmaking facilities that service 40% of the nearby ski area.
