Les Deux Alpes is quite simply a skiers paradise. Officially regarded as one of the highest altitude resorts in the French Alps, it offers fantastic skiing experiences for all ski abilities. It has up to 225 kilometres of snow pistes which are spread out over altitudes ranging between 1,650 metres to 3,568 metres. The ski area is serviced by an efficient network of up to 52 lifts consisting of cable cars, gondolas, chairlifts, magic carpets and drag lifts.

Types of Ski Pass in Les Deux Alpes

The Les Deux Alpes ski area is split into two; the Vallee Blanche ski area ( referred to at the resort as the small ski area) and the Glacier ski area ( referred to simply as the Big ski area). The Vallee Blanche ski area covers the smaller part of the ski area closer to the resort, including a lot of the southwest-facing slopes, while the Glacier area covers the majority of the 225 kilometres of ski terrain area. Both areas have pedestrian access. It is important to note that although the Vallee Blanche ski area is closer to the resort, the runs here are made up of reds and tricky blues which are suited to confident intermediates and not exactly beginner-friendly with the bigger ski area having more options for beginners. There are discounts and concessions available on the ski passes for both areas.
Family Ski Pass
There are discounts under the Family+ Pack discount. Family must be 2 adults and a minimum of 2 children between 5-18 years old. The Solo Family pack will be eligible to a single adult and a minimum of 2 children between 5-18 years old. Proof of age required.
Group Ski Pass
The group ski pass is also referred to as the Crew Pack. This offers reductions on groups of 4 adults between the ages of 19 to 64 and or juniors or children between the ages of 5 and 18 years old. The Crew Pack can only be used on lift passes with a minimum duration of 6 days.
Disabled Pass
Disabled skiers and accompanying carers or chaperones in Les 2 Alpes can get reductions on their lift pass upon presentation of a proof of disability and identity card for the accompanying guide.
